As Spark continues to grow across North America, we are excited to open new facilities in Alberta, Ontario, CA, and Texas.
In Western Canada, we have moved our Southern Alberta operations into a Calgary-based hub location, which will combine our service teams from across the region and also support our field operations and integrated panel shop. We are excited to be doing the same thing in Belleville, Ontario, under a combined facility for all of our Spark services in Eastern Canada.
In the USA, we recently announced our new location in Abilene, Texas in support of our Renewables’ field team.
Lastly, we held a groundbreaking ceremony for our new, state-of-the-art Head Office, with a projected opening in 2022. All of these activities are in support of our ongoing growth across North America as “One Spark”, and will enhance our goal of continuing to be our customers’ Trusted Partner in Power™.

SAFETY MOMENT
Safety is our #1 priority.
Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) is a key part of working safely in all industrial settings. When properly performed, the LOTO process controls hazardous energy and guarantees safe isolation that keeps workers safe.
We encourage you to remember these lifesaving questions about energy isolation…
Are all types of energy dissipated and locked out?
Have I considered all forms of hazardous energy (electrical, mechanical, pressure, gravity)?
Keeping our customers and employees safe. As we continue to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic, we remind you to follow public health guidelines such as social distancing, wearing a mask, frequent hand washing, self-monitoring, and staying home if you feel ill in order to help protect your family, co-workers, community, and yourself.
15 YEARS OF BULLFROG POWER
In 2005, Bullfrog Power was founded with the goal of transforming the energy landscape in Canada. Since then, our community has avoided more than 1.85 million tonnes of CO2 emissions and helped fund more than 150 community-based renewable energy projects. Most recently, we signed a power purchase agreement to support the construction of one of Canada's largest solar projects! We've made incredible progress over the past 15 years, and that's worth celebrating. But we still have work to do to build a renewably powered future. We're so grateful that you're on this journey with us.

The Arc Project
Spark is proud to be providing base building electrical construction at the University of Manitoba’s “The Arc”, an innovative student housing complex that is Manitoba’s first luxury student housing community. The project has an expected completion date of July 2021.
Fisher River Cree Nation launches their solar farm

SPARK IN THE COMMUNITY
Spark Power continues to actively support communities in which we work and live during these unprecedented times. Despite the challenges created by COVID-19, we’ve worked closely with our charitable partners over the last few months as they’ve adapted their initiatives to comply with safety measures and protocols.
We were thrilled to work with these individuals and organizations as they navigated new, virtual models and processes for hosting and managing their causes:
For those that looked for innovative ways to raise additional funds to support important causes,– such as Otterville Motorsports and the #SavetheRack initiative for Breast Cancer Awareness (check out his car!), we were beyond proud to work with you this race season and have you represent Spark in the Community in such a positive way.
Lastly, we want to take a moment to congratulate Austin Riley of Racing for Autism. This inspirational young athlete may have had a short season due to COVID-19, but did not disappoint! Austin impressed everyone as he took first place and won the 2020 Radical Canada Cup East Championship earlier this month at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, becoming the first person with autism to win a racing championship.
